Terms & Conditions
Please read carefully before booking with Florina Buda Makeup Artist
By paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking & Payment
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Full payment is due 7 days before your event date. Late payment may result in cancellation. Minimum booking requirements may apply during peak season (May-September).
2. Cancellations
By the Client: Deposits are non-refundable. Any reduction in services after deposit payment will be charged in full. By Florina Buda: If I cannot attend due to unforeseen circumstances, a qualified replacement artist will be provided or a full refund issued. I am not liable for consequential losses beyond my control.
3. Trials
Bridal trials are recommended and available for an additional fee. Trials take place weekdays at my Warwickshire studio. If you require a trial at your location, travel fees apply. Appointments are subject to availability and should be booked 2–3 months before your wedding.
4. Allergies & Products
I use luxury brands including Charlotte Tilbury, MAC, NARS, Pat McGrath Labs, Tom Ford, and Dior. I always aim to use high-quality, skin-friendly products suitable for all skin types. However, as everyone’s skin reacts differently, I cannot guarantee that products will be completely free from potential irritation or reactions.
You are responsible for disclosing all allergies or sensitivities at the time of booking and may request a patch test at least 48 hours in advance (fee applies). If you have known allergies, you must bring your own makeup products for use during the appointment. I will apply these products upon request but cannot be held liable for any reactions, even to your own products.
By booking, you acknowledge that I am not liable for any allergic reactions, whether or not allergies were disclosed.
5. Right to Refuse Service
I may refuse or cancel service if insufficient health information is provided, a significant health risk exists, a recommended patch test is refused, contagious conditions are present, or unprofessional behaviour occurs. Deposits will only be refunded at my discretion, depending on the circumstances.
6. Event Day
I arrive at the agreed time. Client delays may reduce service time or incur extra charges. The venue must provide adequate space and lighting. Additional services, such as extra clients or touch-ups, are charged at standard rates and must be paid before I leave.
If any additional guests require makeup services, I must be notified at least one week in advance, before the full payment is made. Approval for extra clients remains at my discretion, depending on availability and scheduling.
7. Travel, Parking & Accommodation
Travel Fees: A travel fee applies when I travel to your location, based on distance and travel time. Studio services at my Warwickshire location do not incur travel fees. Parking: Disclose parking charges at booking. Undisclosed fees will be invoiced separately. Destination Weddings: Client covers flights/transport, accommodation, and visa costs. All costs must be agreed and paid in advance.
8. Photography
By booking, you grant permission to use makeup images for portfolio or marketing purposes unless you opt out in writing at booking.
9. Liability
I hold professional insurance, but am not liable for undisclosed allergic reactions, damage to personal items, or makeup wear beyond normal expectations. Clients must arrive with clean skin, disclose all allergies, and follow aftercare advice.
10. Force Majeure
If I cannot provide services due to circumstances beyond my control (such as severe weather, illness, emergency, or government restrictions), a suitable alternative will be offered or a full refund issued.
